EMS agencies are facing an increasing number of audits. This session will focus on a “house cleaning” that agencies can perform to prepare for a potential audit. It will include the basic processes and give agencies the tools necessary to analyze internal data for red flags.

The session will examine practical tips for addressing an audit. The session will focus on pre-payment audits, such as TPEs, where a proper strategy can make the difference between a “good” versus a “bad” outcome.

NAAC indicated that it will award 4 mandatory hours and 5 elective hours for the coding course, which includes Tuesday’s coding course, Wednesday’s talk by Asbel Montes and the subsequent Zoom with Novitas.
